Most of my hobbies expand on my love of engineering. I have made hundreds of 3D models, in all kinds of software. Here are some examples of the work I do just because I like it.

Above is a project I recently completed, modeling friends & family in giant Lego form for holiday gifts.  For a challenge, I both modeled existing Legos to supersize & invented new compatible parts in Lego's Visual Style.
All of these are 5X scale of real Lego pieces, with printed snap tolerances. I used OnShape and Blender and then sliced in Bambu Studio to print.
Extremely rapid prototyping was a big growth area for me in this project. Many times, in the middle of modeling, I would take 1 mm thick slices of a model and print them to test sizes and how the material handled the shape. These were printed in multi color PLA, with various post processing including primer, paint, & wood stain
Disclaimer: (While most of the lego models are mine, I did build to interact with a few existing models seen in those images)
In the video above, she is wearing "Wiggly U of U Ears" that I designed. They are multicolor PLA, printed with custom springs with attachments that click into the existing ear protection without scraping the head.
Her rings are also a design of mine, sculpted to fit ring sizes 10,11,9, & 8 respectively. I shaped custom rings around a more natural oval shape and then modeled the MUSS logo on to each ring.
(You'll never guess what University I attend! I'm pretty big on school spirit.)
